Bespoke Care Training

We offer tailored courses to meet the needs of our many customers. Over the past few years we have developed many training sessions to meet specific business and family needs;

Our Care Induction course for those newly employed in care.

A workshop for family carers looking at their individual circumstances and offering/demonstrating practical solutions.

Examples of other sessions/workshops we have tailor made are:

  • Assisting People who Have Fallen
  • Practical Fire Safety and Evacuation
  • Allergy and Nutrition Awareness
  • Understanding Dementia
  • Use of Automated Electronic Defibrillator and Basic Life Support
  • Safe Medication
  • Understanding the Mental Capacity Act

 Personal Budget Holders

Recently we have been working with a number of Personal Budget Holders and Direct Employers. Assessors for Continuing Healthcare Funding had identified areas requiring training. Our courses are tailored specifically to the needs of the individual and their environment. This is something we are more than happy to help with and we have enjoyed meeting some incredibly dedicated people.

We have also worked with Young Carers in Suffolk, tailoring Emergency First Aid and Food Safety courses to meet their needs.

A society for writers and publishers asked us to deliver a very basic First Aid course and we have delivered sessions for Family Carer groups all over the county.

As we are a small, local training provider we are able to be flexible and develop training sessions, or workshops, that you need. So, if you cannot find what you are looking for please contact us for a chat to see how we can help.

The Yeo Group

 Six carers and three family members attended a Moving & Handling course in the home of the disabled gentleman we look after.  All felt the experience was a positive one.  It was so helpful to be in situ with our specific equipment and the course was tailored to our needs.  Nicola was very helpful in resolving a tricky Moving & Handling issue for us.  She was friendly, professional and provided written information.  I have since been on the Medication Training and Safeguarding courses and found those very good too.
