A 2 day course, knowledge input for Standards


Why is this training important?

People new to the care sector are encouraged to take the Care Certificate to ensure they have the knowledge, understanding and practical expertise to enable them to work effectively. Developed by the sector governing body Skills for Care it covers the underpinning knowledge and values in 15 subject areas.

How long is the course?
The Care Certificate training is run over 2 consecutive days, starting at 0930 and finishing at 1630.
Are there any entry requirements?
Just a willingness to learn and join in the activities.
How is the course assessed?
There is no formal assessment on this course. We supply the workbooks for each of the standards covered and you can complete them in your own time for your employer. Support is available, by LimeSkills, on-line, if needed.
Do I need to bring anything?
The folder and all learning materials will be provided by LimeSkills. We supply tea, coffee and biscuits but not lunch. There is an on-site cafe (which has wonderful homemade cakes) or local shops if you wish to purchase lunch.
What is the cost?
The cost is £150 per person. Group discounts are available for 6 or more people.
