Why is this training important?
This two day course meets the mandatory, and basic requirements for induction to the Care sector. Covering Health and Safety, Basic Life Support, Safe Moving and Handling, Medication Training and Safeguarding. It is delivered in a relaxed, supportive environment to promote professional and confident practices.

How long is the course?
The course is run over two days, each starting at 0930 and finishing at 1630.
Are there any entry requirements?
No, just a willingness to join in and learn.
How is the course assessed?
There is no formal assessment on this course. Theory is covered for parts of the Care Certificate and you may need to complete this for your employer.
Do I need to bring anything?
You will need to wear comfortable clothing suitable for practical activities around Moving and Handling and First Aid.
We supply tea, coffee and biscuits but not lunch. There is an on-site cafe or local shops if you wish to purchase lunch.
What is the cost?
The cost is £160 (plus VAT) per person. Group discounts are available for 6 or more people.
