CQC Support and Assistance
At Limeskills we realise that every business is different, that is why we do not have a “one size fits all” approach when you may need our help. To ensure we can provide the appropriate level of assistance we have designed a variety of options that can be tailored to suit your requirements.
The different areas are outlined below but we can add on whatever is needed. We are here to help you, not us!

Independent Audit
We offer an independent audit againest the 5 CQC questions which will provide an indication of care practice compliance. This could be a one off or annual visist which could be:
Paper based
Manager interview
Care practice observation
Care plan review
We can evaluate how processes and practices demonstrate compliance. Feedback can be one to one, a group presentation or written report.
Care Plan Review
We look into care plan writing, completing and reviewing paper and online to ensure they are the best they can be. They are evaluated on content compliance, recording and completion. We will highlight both good practice and areas for improvement with practical solutions if necessary.
Dementia Audit
Do you meet the personal and individual needs of people with Dementia in your care setting? Areas that we can assist with to help you demonstrate good practice could include:
- Individualised personal care
- “Life stories” within care planning
- Best use of activity resources
- Environmental audit -e.g. use of colours and lighting
Through the Eyes of the Inspector
We help you demystify the CQC lines of inquiry concerning:
- Health and Safety – Fire, Risk Assessments
- The Social Care Act 2014 and relevant legislation including Moving and Handling
- Responsive services
- Leadership
This is best done with your senior colleagues, directors and/or trustees.
