Why is this training important?

This 3 hour workshop is to meet the requirements of Suffolk County Councils new Home Care and Support –  Service Locality, Service Specification, which states that Moving and Handling People Safely must now be carried out “Face to Face”.

Who should attend?

LimeSkills has developed this workshop to meet the requirements for yearly update training for all care employees. It is suggested that all new staff attend an accredited a Safe Moving and Handling/ Safe Moving of People course as a part of their induction. Please see here for more details.

What is involved?

In this workshop we cover the theory and practical elements which will refresh knowledge and skills. This will ensure customers, and staff, are kept safe when moving and handling in the work place. A LimeSkills certificate of attendance will be awarded when the workshop is completed.

How long is the course?
A 3 hour workshop. AM from 9.30 to 12.30 or PM 1.30 to 4.30
How is the course assessed?
There is no formal assessment. A LimeSkills certificate will be awarded on completion of the workshop and activities
Do I need to bring anything?
We supply tea, coffee, biscuits and a comfortable environment. There is an on-site cafe which has wonderful home-made cakes if you want to treat yourself!
What is the cost?
The cost is £35 per person. Group discounts are available for 6 or more people.

This course is available to book for groups of 6 or more.

It can be held at Felaw Maltings in Ipswich or at your premises.
