Why is this training important?
Under current regulations each workplace must have a suitably qualified person to be responsible for Fire Safety within any premises.
Who is this qualification for?
This qualification is aimed at anyone involved in the management of fire safety in any workplace. This includes managers, supervisors, team leaders, fire wardens (marshals) and staff working in any area where there is a potential risk of fire.

How long is the course?
The HABC Level 2 Award in the Principles of Fire Safety is a full day course. Starting at 9.30 and ending at 4.30.
Are there any entry requirements?
No, but the completion of basic Fire Safety training would be beneficial.
How is the course assessed?
There is a 20 question, multiple choice assessment at the end of the day, 12 correct will enable to certificate to be awarded. This can be done verbally is necessary, please speak to us prior to the beginning of the course
When will I know if I have passed
Results are usually with us after 3 weeks with the certificates arriving roughly a week after this. When invoices are paid the cetitifates are sent by Royal Mail, signed for delivery.
Do I need to bring anything?
Please bring with you proof of Identification, this is an Awarding Organisation requirement. We can accept Driving Licence, Passport, a signed bank card or a staff ID containing a photograph
We supply tea, coffee and biscuits but not lunch, there is a cafe on site where you can buy hot and cold meals and drinks.
What does it cost?
The cost is £70 (plus VAT) per person. Discounts are available for group bookings.
