Half day course designed for the Care environment


Why is this training important?

This qualification has been developed to ensure that Care sector employees are equipped with a basic knowledge of health and safety in the care environment, including the duties under UK health and safety legislation.

This qualification requires no former knowledge of health and safety and is therefore ideal as part of a Health and Safety induction programme. It can also form part of ongoing refresher training designed to improve the health and safety culture in the care workplace

Anyone working, or hoping to work, in the Care environment.

How long is the course?
The Health and Safety for Care course is a half day, 3 hour, course. AM starts at 0930 and ends at 1230, PM starts at 1.30 and finishes at 4.30
Are there any entry requirements?
No, but you should be to move freely for the practical elements of the course.
How is the course assessed?
There is no formal assessment, exercises and activities will be given during the session.
Do I need to bring anything?
We supply tea, coffee and biscuits but if you need more there is a cafe on site where you can buy drinks and snacks.
What does it cost?

The cost is £50 per person. Discounts are available for group bookings

This course is available to book for groups of 6 or more.

It can be held at Felaw Maltings in Ipswich or at your premises.
