Why is this training important?

“Approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health problem each year”. “In England 1 in 6 people report experiencing a common mental health problem (such as anxiety and depression) in any given week”. Source Mind.org.uk

Who needs this training/ qualification? 

This workshop is aimed at managers, supervisors and team leaders. It is however, suitable for anyone with an interest in promoting positive mental health.

Learning outcomes

Our 4 hour introductory workshop is delivered in a supportive, professional environment. We include a light lunch with a chance to relax and discuss the content with the facilitator and other attendees.

  • Common mental health issues
  • Looking after your own mental health and wellbeing
  • Supporting someone in distress
How long is the course?
The Mental Health at Work is an extended half day course. Starting at 0930 and finishing at 1400 includes a light lunch.
Are there any entry requirements?
There are no entry requirements for this workshop.
How is the course assessed?
There is no formal assessment for this course. A LimeSkills certificate of attendance will be provided for CPD.
Do I need to bring anything?
We supply tea, coffee and biscuits and a light lunch.
What is the cost?
The cost is £60 per person. Group discounts are available for 6 or more people.
