HABC Level 2 Award for
Personal Licence Holders
Why is this training important?
Under the licencing ACT 2003 anyone wishing to sell or authorise the sale of alcohol by retail on licensed premises must hold a personal licence.
Who needs this qualification?
In attending the courses learners will gain the understanding and confidence needed when selling or authorising the service or sale of alcohol.
Understanding the nature and purpose of the personal licence
Understanding the application process and legal duties when applying for a personal licence.
Understand the legal duties of a personal licence holder
Understand the law in relation to premises licence
Understand prohibitions and exemptions in the relations to licence activities
The one day course is delivered by presentation and discussions. Delegates will receive a course handbook to support their learning.
This qualification is assessed through a 40 question multiple choice question examination.
