This has been designed to support the delivery and assessment of the new Care Certificate Standards

 

Why is this training important?

The HABC Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF) has been designed to provide an introduction to teaching for individuals who would like to work or currently work within FE Colleges, Independent Training Providers, Local Authorities or those who wish to provide in house training. It covers all aspects of the delivery and assessment of training and learning along with the knowledge and practices help you support staff taking the new Care Certificate and other qualifications. The level 3 Award is a prerequisite to delivering accredited training.

 

Who needs this training/ qualification

Those preparing to or are already training to develop confidence and understanding in the delivery and assessment of adult learning. It covers all aspects of the delivery and assessment of training and learning along with the knowledge and practices help you support staff taking the new Care Certificate and other qualifications.

Course Delivery

This qualification is delivered over 4 days with an additional one to one tutorial for support if required. Learners will be expected to carry out some self-study. Presentation, discussion, group and individual activities are used to ensure interesting and relevant learning.

 

Assessment

Through a portfolio of evidence which demonstrations the learner has met the required assessment criteria. Learners will be expected to show theoretical evidence via assignments and demonstrate practical skills by delivering a 15 minute micro teach
