Why is this training important?

Under the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992, employers are required to take appropriate steps to reduce the risk of injury to employees – this includes suitable training. This course will give employees a basic understanding of relevant legislation and provides essential information about manual handling hazards and the current risk assessment processes used within the sector.

All employees who have to carry out any manual handling activities at work

Course Delivery

This half day course is delivered by presentation and discussions. Delegates will receive a course handbook to support their learning. 

 

Assessment

No formal assessment, Knowledge and understanding are assessed through an end of session quiz and verbal feedback. Each learner will be awarded a certificate of achievement.
